Let Viewers Pick Your Cleaner Role
In the game, Cleaners are people immune to the Devil Worm parasite and who survived the apocalypse. They’re the characters you play as you advance through chapters.
If you’ve ever seen zombie movies, you know that each survivor is a different personality…and what if you could let your viewers choose? In today’s blog post, we have four ways to play Back 4 Blood to try different strategies, immerse yourself in the gameplay and test the cooperation with your teammates with new challenges! Be the daring hero, an essential teammate…or betray the group to save your skin! So read below and become a part of your own horror story!
The cards in the Community Original Collection work with any of the playstyles listed below! Before starting a chapter, ask viewers which team role they’d like to see you play, and then make each card redeemed act within that playstyle. You’ll be surprised at the creative ways you’ll be able to perform them as you adapt during the game!
1. The Lone Wolf
This type of character acts independently and prefers to do things alone but needs a lot of skill to back this up: think Daryl in the Walking Dead! Tell your viewers that when they play cards in this collection, you’ll act them in a way that is less reliant on the team but doing all you can to ensure you live to see another day.
Becoming a Lone Wolf is a great play style for when you feel like you’ll do anything to survive on your means. Just make sure you stock up on your ammo beforehand…
2. The Daredevil
Time to be the ultimate zombie flick action hero. When you’re feeling like the team daredevil, incentivize your viewers to play cards that keep you going without holding back, as dangerously as possible but always with a ton of style. There are plenty of cards filled with high-octane, action-packed requests from viewers.
We’re not saying that your team will enjoy your antics as probably you’ll put the group at some risk without considering too much what can happen if it doesn’t work out. But just in case it does, you’ll be the hero of the day – and who knows if you won’t save everyone along with it?
3. The Traitor
What if you don’t want everyone to survive in the end? Make it a secret only known for you and your viewers: your mission is to make sure you’re the sole survivor on the round. Are you able to make it through the end while hurting your teammates’ chances and making sure you’re overlooked?
It will require your most refined cunning skills to deceive everyone in the group while ensuring you survive. Pretty much every card in the collection can work in your favor as a traitor when you apply it in the right way, so viewers can become the evil commanders who want to stop the Cleaners by deciding how you’ll hurt their progress. What can go wrong?
4. The Team Player
As an alternative to the evil mastermind Traitor role listed above, viewers can instruct you to become the most prominent team player in the world, always ready to support and help your peers – maybe even too much.
This playstyle will focus your attention on the health of your squad, helping their survival chances, even disregarding your safety when needed. Go down in history as the teammate who made the difference when it mattered…or the one who took the power of friendship way too seriously during the zombie apocalypse.
