“Get inspired with other streamers and make unique cards to your community”.
For Bawnsai, a key for success was split into two parts: Getting a burst of inspiration by researching collections from successful creators in her category and implementing time and effort to make cards unique to her community.
I explained the platform in a short and straight to the point way to my community, the website is quite easy to use, and I made sure the cards I created had thorough descriptions and thumbnails, so it wasn’t hard for viewers to understand and navigate through the process.
I suggest to plan the general stream idea first, then create the cards accordingly.

“Sound cards are a great way to introduce viewers to Streamloots”
dannydinosaurYT found that having a wide range of cards that trigger sound alerts was the best way to get viewers on board the Streamloots experience. That way, viewers would find out immediately how they could impact the stream and raise their enthusiasm to become regular supporters of the channel through the packs. In addition, sound cards allowed viewers to understand the concept and get excited about all types of interactions.
Elly, 🏹 Black Desert Online Streamer
“Get your mod team onboard with your cards”
Elly mentions that having looked over the cards with the mods to brainstorm helped a lot in creating a great experience. As she adapted between streams, she found out that adjusting the cooldowns and making cards work around what made her more comfortable was essential to create a pleasant experience for her and viewers, leading to more meaningful interactions.
Some early cards required me to stop what I was doing during the stream, which can feel cumbersome, so adapting cooldowns and cards to make the experience simpler was more effective.

“You gotta get your timers and cooldowns right”
When you have highly enthusiastic communities, the main question is not how to get them on board, but how to manage everyone’s experience so that the result on stream is entertaining but balanced. DeltiasGaming found out that it’s essential to learn from each stream and adapt your collection as you go live the next time to keep your community invested in Streamloots while still making you feel you’re in control of the stream.
Start funny and silly, but then get ready to turn up timers. See how your stream goes, then see what needs to be tuned because something might get abused (even if for fun!). Between streams me and my mods wen through every card, deleted some that weren’t working – make sure to keep going through your cooldowns, text, timers, cards, and etc. It’s very important so you don’t lose control of the stream.

EmpyrianGaming, 🧙 Path of Exile streamer
“Gathering ideas from the community was a big help”
Path of Exile wasn’t a very present category on Streamloots, so EmpyrianGaming had an idea: connect with the community beforehand to know which ideas they could contribute to the card creation. By explaining to the viewers the concept, not only was he able to craft a collection with meaningful cards but also to make his audience understand how Streamloots worked even before he went live.
