1. Plan Ahead and Get the Word Out
You’ll see plenty of creative ideas in the suggestions below, and we’re sure these will inspire you to create new and fun ways to make your community go the extra mile when it comes to interactivity and channel support on Black Friday! As such, the first tip is essential: make sure to share plans with your viewers beforehand, hype them up leading into Black Friday and let them know they can’t miss all the deals and opportunities you’ll create! Planning ahead, you’ll be able to turn Black Friday into one of the most successful days of the year in your channel!
2. Pack Goals & Milestones with Discounts
Goals & Milestones in your channel are a great way to rally viewers and supporters in a cause. For Black Friday, you can create small goals targeting a number of packs sold and reward viewers when such a milestone is achieved with a discount code that allows viewers to purchase the following packs at a lower price. Remember, you can create coupons and set Pack Goals Alerts within your Creator Dashboard!
3. Create a Black Friday Exclusive Collection
Few things hype up viewers rather than the excitement of a new collection is made available for them. Especially if they’re already familiar with Streamloots, creating a new timed-exclusive collection is a great strategy to switch up your content and bring viewers into trying out new cards. For Black Friday this year, consider creating a short collection that will only be available during the Black Friday weekend, with creative and exciting new interactions for your viewers to redeem. You don’t have to make this a vast collection – even adding just 5 to 10 new cards can create the desired effect.
4. Create Hourly Deals & Happy Hours
If you’ve visited a retailer’s website like Amazon during Black Friday, you’ll probably be aware of Flash Discounts which take place within a limited time. You can recreate such strategies easily with your packs and collections, even when you’re live. During select hours, decrease the price of your packs and make sure to communicate this to your viewers as the special offer just starts. Choose to announce your Hourly Deals in advance through socials, or drop them by surprise during your stream as a special announcement!
5. 2×1 Initiatives
There’s a lot you can do when it comes to “2 for 1” ideas with Streamloots during Black Friday. For example, for the whole day or during specific Hourly Deals, you can mention to viewers that whenever they purchase 2 packs, they’ll get one for free. Or, if you currently are selling packs holding 1 or 2 cards, you can make those packs include an extra card during this time to boost their value and make the offer more appealing to viewers within a limited time. Or you can even be a bit more daring: for selected interactions, every time a card is played, you can perform the action twice. The options are limitless!
6. Encourage Community Gifting With Rewards
Do you know about the Community Gifting feature on your profile? You can use Black Friday as a way to encourage a generous viewer to purchase and gift packs to the community and even reward those who do. Offer a special incentive for those who use this feature to share the love among your community, like a free chest or a unique interaction.
7. Early-Bird Opportunities
Before your Black Friday deals and streams go live, create an initiative for the first viewers to take action. You can make a special early-bird coupon limited to the first uses that will incentivize your audience to be among the first to redeem and use it to purchase packs. You can also switch up this strategy with other ideas, such as providing cards that are only obtainable within the first hour of your stream. But remember: it’s essential to keep them limited to improve their value.
8. Last-Chance Offers
This one is similar to the Early-Bird Opportunities described above: create initiatives that make it appealing for viewers to make last-minute purchases within Black Friday. Mix this up with some of the other ideas mentioned in this blog post, and you’ll create a tremendous last-chance offer that your viewers simply can’t miss!
9. Bigger Discounts in Bundle Packs
You’re probably aware that when picking the price for your packs in Streamloots, you can set specific pricing for when viewers purchase pack bundles. During Black Friday, you can consider creating more attractive discounts to incentivize pack purchases during that period. You can even adjust the number of packs in each bundle, which can be a great way to provide viewers with much value for their investment in your channel. How about even considering a bundle of 30 packs with a 30% discount? Don’t remember to combine this with the Community Gifting feature to incentivize viewer generosity.
10. Free Gift or Action With Every Purchased Pack
A great idea to consider during Black Friday is to offer a bonus gift, action, or trigger whenever a pack is purchased. It doesn’t have to be a very significant or expensive gift to be valuable, and you can even make a challenge out of it. For example, we’ve seen streamers do a roulette wheel spin whenever someone buys a pack, and others make it change the light in their room or even just trigger a bonus effect for the stream. Tie pack purchases to movement in a board game, for example, and let viewers unlock rewards every time one round is completed.
